Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within a high-volume production environment, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency targets are consistently met. This role provides direct supervision to production team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining alignment with production schedules and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production employees across assigned shift
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and material availability to prevent downtime
- Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and standardized work procedures
- Conduct regular safety walks, audits, and incident reporting follow-ups
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production issues
- Drive continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing principles
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including output, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency
- Lead shift handoffs and communicate priorities between departments and leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold teams accountable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in basic computer systems (MES, ERP, Microsoft Office preferred)
