Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for technical products and solutions
Develop and present value propositions to potential customers
Work with internal teams to validate product concepts and prototypes against customer requirements
Support quoting activities, including cost development and pricing recommendations
Collaborate with Business Development Managers to secure customer commitments
Assist in developing product and market strategies based on customer and competitor insights
Participate in project and program reviews and cross-functional meetings
Transition validated opportunities to account or program management teams
Maintain strong customer relationships throughout early development stages

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in applications engineering, sales engineering, or technical sales
Experience in industries such as aerospace, industrial, or similar technical markets preferred
Strong technical background with ability to interpret customer specifications
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and financial awareness skills
Ability to travel as needed
