Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for technical products and solutions
- Develop and present value propositions to potential customers
- Work with internal teams to validate product concepts and prototypes against customer requirements
- Support quoting activities, including cost development and pricing recommendations
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to secure customer commitments
- Assist in developing product and market strategies based on customer and competitor insights
- Participate in project and program reviews and cross-functional meetings
- Transition validated opportunities to account or program management teams
- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout early development stages
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, sales engineering, or technical sales
- Experience in industries such as aerospace, industrial, or similar technical markets preferred
- Strong technical background with ability to interpret customer specifications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and financial awareness skills
- Ability to travel as needed
