Company Overview

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced production facility. This individual will oversee maintenance technicians, drive preventative maintenance initiatives, improve equipment reliability, and support overall plant operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, developing maintenance teams, and driving continuous improvement within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Position Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance operations for a multi-shift manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading maintenance technicians, coordinating preventative maintenance programs, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of production equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience along with hands-on troubleshooting abilities involving electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and industrial automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across assigned shifts
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems
  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM completion, and equipment performance
  • Coordinate outside contractors and vendors as needed
  • Maintain CMMS documentation, work orders, and maintenance records
  • Assist with capital projects, equipment upgrades, and installations
  • Develop and mentor maintenance team members
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve plant efficiency and reliability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving:
  • PLCs
  • VFDs
  • Motors & controls
  • Hydraulics & pneumatics
  • Conveyors
  • Industrial automation equipment
  • Experience within high-speed manufacturing, food production, automotive, metals, plastics, packaging, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • CMMS experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or support off-shift operations as needed

  • Robotics experience (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) is a plus
