About the Role

This role is heavily focused on electrical power distribution systems, particularly supporting and maintaining substations that power large industrial facilities. Work will involve infrastructure rather than direct interaction with manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Associate’s degree considered)
  • Field of study: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

Required Skills

  • 5–8+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Medium- to high-voltage power distribution systems (1,000V+)
  • Knowledge of protective relay systems
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (NEC / NFPA 70)

Preferred Skills

  • Ideal: Experience in metal processing or melting operations
  • Strong alternative: Facilities, utilities, or energy sector experience

Pay range and compensation package

  • Salary range: $105,000 – $140,000+ (flexible based on experience)
  • Bonus structure: ~10% (split between company performance and individual performance)
  • Relocation assistance available (up to $40,000 depending on distance)
  • First shift with flexible start time (between 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM)
  • Typical work week: 40–45 hours
  • Occasional emergency support required (including weekends if necessary)
