  • Optimize synchronization and wait codes to maximize throughput and minimize cycle time
  • Lead full setup and prove-out of new parts, including tooling, guide bushing alignment, and machine setup
  • Ensure process stability, predictable tool life, and optimized cycle times prior to production handoff
  • Select and implement tooling and high-pressure coolant strategies for optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot machining issues including offsets, chatter, and process inconsistencies
  • Support and mentor setup personnel as the on-the-floor technical expert

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of CNC machining experience, including 3+ years in a Manufacturing Engineer role
  • Strong proficiency with PartMaker (Autodesk)
  • Hands-on experience with Star Swiss machines (SR, SB, SV series)
  • Experience setting up and programming Takisawa (Fanuc) and Haas (ST-series) lathes
  • Deep understanding of Fanuc and Haas controls
  • Ability to read complex blueprints and hold tight tolerances
  • Ability to edit G-code and develop macros as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
