About the Opportunity
We are partnered with a fast-growing American manufacturer in Beloit, WI to find an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead talent acquisition across their organization. This company recently opened a brand new 400,000+ sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and is backed by a billion-dollar holding company with aggressive growth plans. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the HR Director — a high-visibility opportunity to build and own the recruiting function at a company that is scaling rapidly.
The ideal candidate comes from either a manufacturing recruiting agency background or an in-house manufacturing HR/recruiting environment. You'll be the go-to recruiter for everything from shop floor roles to Director and VP level positions, owning the full strategy from sourcing through offer.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, operations, executive, and manufacturing roles
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using social media, cold calling, research, and talent mapping
- Own wage surveys, market data analysis, and compensation benchmarking for all positions
- Develop, standardize, and improve job descriptions across the organization
- Conduct skill gap analysis and assist with training plan development
- Manage ATS and HRIS platforms to streamline recruiting workflows
- Negotiate offers and ensure compliance with employment and labor law
- Build relationships with hiring managers across all levels including C-suite
- Manage external staffing agency relationships as needed
- Attend job fairs and college recruiting events
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of strong recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience recruiting for Director and VP level positions across Operations, Engineering, or similar functions
- Experience conducting wage surveys and analyzing market compensation data
- Job description development and standardization experience
- Strong sourcing skills — cold calling, research, lead generation, and relationship management
- ATS and HRIS platform experience
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of employment and labor law
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Nice to Have
- Agency recruiting background
- Experience managing external staffing agency relationships
- HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- Employer branding and social media recruiting experience
- Succession planning and training development experience
Why This Role
- Newly created, high-impact role with direct access to the HR Director and senior leadership
- Brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
- Backed by a billion-dollar holding company with strong growth trajectory
- Culture built on respect, opportunity, and American craftsmanship
- Competitive salary + full benefits
What We're NOT Looking For Candidates with only retail, hospitality, or non-manufacturing recruiting backgrounds will not be considered. This role requires demonstrated experience placing high-level salaried talent in a manufacturing environment.
