Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. and international regulatory standards (FDA, cGMP, ISO, etc.)
- Coordinate cross-functional testing schedules to support weekly production activities
- Oversee and perform testing for raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability, and validation studies
- Review and maintain controlled documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead investigations related to product quality issues, deviations, and customer complaints
- Author and review quality and safety reports; drive timely completion of corrective actions (CAPAs)
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and production goals
- Lead daily huddles and communicate progress, priorities, and performance metrics
- Manage department scheduling, including overtime and staffing needs
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure a safe, clean laboratory environment
- Ensure all team members are properly trained and qualified for assigned responsibilities
- Promote a strong safety culture, including working with radiological materials under ALARA principles (if applicable)

- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive high performance
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Set clear expectations and align team goals with site objectives
- Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in a cGMP-regulated laboratory environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and testing methods
- Ability to interpret data and make sound, compliant decisions
