Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer demand, forecasts, and capacity
Balance production loads across departments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, engineering, and supply chain teams
Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to support production schedules
Identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks and adjust schedules accordingly
Lead scheduling meetings and communicate updates to internal teams and leadership
Analyze demand changes and adjust plans to maintain on-time delivery performance
Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Plex, etc.) to manage scheduling and planning activities
Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and production efficiency
Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred OR equivalent experience in production planning/scheduling
5+ years of scheduling/planning experience in manufacturing
Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Plex, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability
Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory control, and production flow
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
