Location: Lake Zurich, IL
Compensation: Up to $60K (with quarterly bonus opportunities)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
A rapidly growing, privately backed U.S.-based manufacturer in the industrial/welding space is seeking a Sales Support Representative to join their team during an exciting phase of expansion. Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic sales efforts by analyzing customer data, trends, and account activity
- Identify declining or underperforming accounts and help uncover opportunities for growth
- Maintain and update CRM and ERP systems (tracking customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline)
- Assist with quote generation, order support, and general customer service backup
- Support outbound sales efforts including email outreach, cold calling, and marketing initiatives
- Build reports, dashboards, and insights using Excel to support leadership decision-making

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (comfortable with data analysis, tracking, and reporting)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and business opportunities

- Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly
Preferred (Not Required)
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field)
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or data analysis (internships count)
- Exposure to CRM/ERP systems (HubSpot, Global Shop, etc.)
- Interest in or exposure to manufacturing/industrial environments
