Senior Financial Analyst

Aegis is partnered with a major manufacturing company in the Carmel, IN area that is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule and strong visibility across leadership, operations, and finance.
This role will focus heavily on financial planning & analysis, cost accounting, and operational finance, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecast processes in partnership with finance, sales, and operations
• Analyze financial and operational performance and present insights to leadership
• Develop KPI reporting and performance metrics to support business decisions
• Perform cost, variance, and profitability analysis related to manufacturing operations
• Support business case development for new initiatives and operational investments
• Assist with standard costing and inventory-related financial analysis
• Support month-end close activities and ongoing financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and drive profitability
Required Background
• 7+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting
• 4+ years of experience specifically within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
• Strong experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• ERP experience required (Oracle or similar systems preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to non-finance teams
