Purchasing Analyst
Location: Cloverdale, IN
Pay: $55,000–$65,000 | Full-Time
We’re hiring a Purchasing Analyst to support procurement operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role works closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure materials are sourced cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support RFQs, quote analysis, and supplier cost comparisons
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
- Analyze purchasing and cost data, including PPV
- Prepare reports using Excel and ERP systems
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Finance
- Support new part launches and engineering changes
- Assist with resolving shortages and supplier disruptions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Occasional supplier travel as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience
- ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Plex, or IQMS
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, PPAP, or ISO standards
- Japanese language skills a plus
