Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing company in the Warsaw, IN area who is looking to add a Recruiter to their team to identify top engineering and skilled trades talent!
Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with plant leadership to attract, source, and hire skilled hourly and salaried talent including production operators, maintenance technicians, supervisors, engineers, and administrative staff. The Recruiter plays a key role in supporting workforce planning, reducing time-to-fill, and ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles within the manufacturing facility
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, production schedules, and workforce planning requirements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-volume and hard-to-fill skilled trades positions
- Post jobs on relevant platforms and maintain accurate job descriptions
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate onsite interviews
- Facilitate plant tours, hiring events, and job fairs
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, turnover, and candidate pipeline activity
- Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transition from offer acceptance to first day
- Build relationships with local technical schools, workforce development programs, and community organizations
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting experience; manufacturing or industrial recruiting strongly preferred
- Experience hiring for high-volume hourly roles and skilled trades
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, plant-based environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
