We are partnering with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer to identify a Manufacturing Chemist to join their first-shift production team. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering strong hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, competitive base pay, and paid overtime for any hours worked over 40.
This role is ideal for a chemist who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting batch manufacturing, and ensuring quality and compliance in a cGMP-regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products according to SOPs and batch records
- Weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials accurately
- Perform in-process testing and document results in compliance with cGMP requirements
- Maintain detailed batch records and ensure proper documentation practices
- Troubleshoot minor process issues and escalate concerns as needed
- Support equipment setup, cleaning, and line clearance activities
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure safe and compliant operations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or related manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and documentation standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
