Our client is hiring a Sales Director - Capital Equipment to drive direct capital equipment sales across the Southeast. This role blends new business development with management of established accounts and offers a clear path toward future leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Sell capital equipment solutions (typical deals ~$500K–$1M+)
- Manage a multi-state territory (TX, TN, Carolinas, Gulf South, FL + Eastern Seaboard)
- Maintain consistent customer visibility through regular account visits
- Develop new business while strengthening existing relationships
- Partner with engineering, service, and project teams through implementation
- Track pipeline activity and forecasting in Salesforce
What We’re Looking For
- Capital equipment sales experience (food processing, packaging, or industrial preferred)
- Strong technical sales ability and comfortable discussing equipment, specs, and ROI
- Experience managing a travel-heavy territory (~65%)
- CRM discipline and stable career progression
- Leadership mindset as there is future management potential
