Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Finance Systems IT Manager to join our RingCentral’s Enterprise Applications team. In this position, you will work with business partners, technology architects and system analysts to help support enterprise applications financial systems. This role is responsible for managing and driving execution of IT Enterprise Applications and projects to enable transformation, growth, maturity and scale. You will lead projects that are laying the foundation and helping scale our core internal business systems. You will work cross-functionally with business partners to deliver solutions for our unique internal business needs. A successful candidate will have experience operating in high-pressure situations, a proven ability to handle competing priorities, proven success managing project managers, and possess a high level of discipline while remaining flexible.

This role requires working from our Belmont office four days per week, with no exceptions.

Responsibilities:

Business Requirements & Analysis:

  • Works closely with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps and goals

  • Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems

  • Partner with business, internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions

  • Participate in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution)

  • Acts as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams

  • Be the techno-functional person who can provide technical solutions to business problems, by understanding the functional requirements

  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the operational metrics

  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding

  • Leverage AI and automation capabilities to enhance finance system efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.

Business Solutions Design, Delivery & Support:

  • Work hands on to solving technical/systems issues by investigating into system configurations, system integrations and API’s

  • Proactive and takes initiative to gather information, investigate gaps / issues, identifies potential solutions and presents to both Business and IT stakeholders

  • Work closely with Vendors, Implementation Partners, Architects, Developers and Business Units to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives

  • Work with various teams to investigate Finance production support issues and ensure timely resolution

  • Manage end-to-end front-line support for finance operations, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and system issues across platforms such as NetSuite, Concur, and Blackline.

  • Optimize Finance systems and processes to scale with RingCentral’s growth by identifying and implementing processes and managing daily issues, reporting, and month-end close that will improve the overall operation and efficiency of the Finance organization.

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation and go live

  • Participate in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing and evaluating new functionality.

  • Support delivery of reporting, dashboards and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business

  • Lead and perform data management and migration activities

  • Ensure training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines

  • Engage in other areas of Finance such as SOX Compliance and Reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience

  • 10+ years of knowledge and related industry experience implementing, configuring, customizing and integrating one or more SaaS / Cloud /On-prem financial systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Coupa, Concur)

  • Must have hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including strong technical and functional knowledge.

  • 7+ years of experience in the implementation, enhancement, and support of Financial ERP modules (AR, AP, PO, GL, FA), preferably within SaaS businesses.

  • Hands on experience in the Information technology (IT) sector and integration services to/on ERP, SaaS based applications.

  • Experience and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP is a plus.

  • Technical development background and understanding of API patterns, payloads

  • Expertise in Hire to Retire, Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay Processes ecosystems is a must

  • Must be a self-starter, completely independent, thrives in a fast-paced environment, customer centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties

  • Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices with systems that handle sensitive data

  • Advanced knowledge of software and spreadsheet applications, complex formula and macro creation required (Excel - Macros, PivotTables, VLOOKUP), and Tableau Report Building & Oracle SQL knowledge is preferred.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment

  • Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn.

  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail; able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability

  • Working knowledge of AI, automation, and advanced analytics concepts as applied to finance systems.

If you are hired in Belmont, the compensation range for this position is between $100,450 and $143,500 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
