Role Overview


As the Senior Director of Global IT, you will be a pivotal member of the global IT
leadership team. Unlike traditional regional head roles, this position carries global accountability for several Enterprise Applications, AI Development, and Software Engineering Excellence. You will lead the execution for our global digital backbone, ensuring that our enterprise systems and custom-built AI agents are scalable, integrated, and high-performing. You will balance global functional excellence with local site leadership, serving as a bridge between our Global HQ in California and our growing innovation hub in Bangalore.


Key Responsibilities


1. Global Enterprise Applications & Architecture
● AI & Automation Roadmap: Oversee the strategic rollout of Enterprise AI initiatives, ensuring projects align with corporate efficiency goals and deliver measurable ROI.
● Ecosystem Governance: Manage the high-level roadmap for systems integration, ensuring a unified data strategy that supports global business transparency and cross-departmental collaboration.
2. Operational Excellence & Delivery Management
● Delivery Orchestration: Provide executive oversight for the IT project portfolio, ensuring teams meet deadlines, manage dependencies, and maintain high service-level agreements (SLAs).
● Quality & Risk Governance: Establish and monitor organizational standards for quality assurance and release protocols to minimize business disruption and ensure operational continuity.
● Technical Debt & Sustainability: Chair the governance board to review major technical decisions, ensuring long-term scalability and preventing organizational inefficiencies caused by fragmented legacy systems.
● Resource & Capacity Planning: Optimize the allocation of engineering talent
across various global projects to ensure balanced workloads and high team
morale.
3. IT Infrastructure & End-User Excellence
● Global Support: you will provide strategic oversight for the India-based
infrastructure and support teams to ensure 24/7 operational excellence.
● Security & Compliance: Ensure all global systems meet stringent data privacy
(GDPR, SOC2) and cybersecurity standards.
4. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
● Dual Reporting: Navigate a complex matrix environment, reporting functionally to the Head of IT (Belmont) for global strategy and administratively to the India GM for local site success.
● Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of architects,
developers, and engineers in Bangalore, fostering a culture of innovation and
accountability.
● Vendor & Budget Management: Manage global vendor relationships and
departmental Opex/Capex budgets.


Required Qualifications

● 20+ years in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a Global/Director-level
capacity.
● Proven track record of managing Enterprise Applications and complex
integrations.
● Hands-on experience leading enterprise IT teams and modernizing legacy
stacks.


Technical Skills:


● Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
● Expertise in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and modern QA automation.
● Knowledge of enterprise data architecture and governance.


Soft Skills (Crucial):


● Executive Presence: Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders across different
time zones and cultures.
● Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written skills; ability to
"translate" deep technical concepts for business leaders.
● Strategic Agility: Ability to pivot between high-level strategy and deep-dive
technical problem-solving.
