Department: Engineering – PBX Engineering Team
Experience: 10+ years
Work Location: Bangalore Hybrid
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, development, and automation of Server Side (Telco) components of RingCentral’s Phone solution to meet business requirements and satisfy top-grade stability and quality standards.
This is a hands-on role with individual contributions, actively participating in daily coding and code reviews.
Maintain high standards of quality in product documentation. Ensure that product documentation remains clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:
10+ years of experience in developing complex distributed systems
Strong Hands-on experience in developing cloud based backend services using modern C++ (11, 14, 17 or later), linux, open source libraries etc.
Hands-on experience on deploying code on public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) using container technologies (docker, k8s).
Good understanding of Networking and TCP/UDP protocols troubleshooting
Experience in telephony, VoIP, or real-time systems.
Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and network communication.
Proven experience in building distributed, high-performance systems.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred:
Experience with cloud technologies
Prior experience with India-based engineering teams.
Experience with AI code gen.
