Overview
This position assumes close work with development teams, R&D department. A successful candidate will be required to collect and work out the requirements for projects within the existing product line, manage the development teams from the product side, and track implementation accordingly. Participate in development activity with regards to RingCentral’s Video collaboration portfolio. These include highly collaborative many to many meetings as well as one to many events such as webinars, rooms, breakouts, and more.
Responsibilities:
As a Principal Product Manager in a Scrum-based software development process, you will be responsible for:
Define, prioritize, and manage requirements for new AI-powered features across RingCentral’s video collaboration portfolio, including intelligent assistance, automation, meeting insights, and enhanced user experience.
Identify, work through, and prioritize requirements for new product features.
Wrap up requirements in User Stories and technical tasks organized in a ranked list (product backlog).
Work with UX team for delightful customer experience improvements for discoverability and ease of use
Creating Acceptance Criteria and validating the result on Sprint demos.
Managing the sprint's scope & release’s scopes.
Promptly resolving all the issues related to the clarification and adaptation of requirements.
Continuously and proactively interact with internal and external stakeholders as well as with different development teams when working with requirements and dependencies.
Mentor junior PMs when necessary
Requirements:
5+ years of Product Management or Product Owner experience, ideally real-time communications like video domain or webinar platforms along with GenAI/Agentic AI experience.
Proven experience building customer-facing applications across web, mobile, and desktop environments.
Strong understanding of software development processes for client- and server-side services, plus familiarity with AI development workflows (model iteration, evaluation, data requirements).
Strong background working with distributed Scrum teams across multiple geographies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities; able to quickly absorb complex information and articulate solutions clearly.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency for seamless global team collaboration.
Experience shaping UX for consumer and business products, with a bonus for designing AI-supported experiences across mobile, desktop, and web environments.
