The Sr. Web Marketing Analyst blends marketing analytics expertise with strong data management skills to improve digital performance and streamline reporting processes. In this role, you’ll analyze website and campaign data, build automated reporting systems, and ensure that all marketing data is accurate, consistent, and reliable. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, sales, and data teams to integrate insights from multiple sources, creating cohesive and data-driven reports that guide smarter marketing strategies and business decisions.
Responsibilities:
1. Web & Campaign Analytics
- Monitor website traffic, user engagement, and conversion funnels using Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics and related tools 
- Help analyze digital marketing performance (SEO, SEM, paid social, email campaigns 
2. Data Engineering & Automation
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) web and marketing data from multiple sources into centralized data repositories 
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, R, Python, or cloud tools 
- Clean, validate, and standardize marketing datasets for consistency and accuracy 
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate marketing data with enterprise data warehouses 
3. Reporting & Visualization
- Build interactive dashboards and automated reports using Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau 
- Create and maintain key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) 
4. Tagging & Tracking
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of website and campaign tracking setups 
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies between tools (e.g., GA4 vs ad platforms) 
 
5. Data Governance & Quality
- Implement data quality checks and monitor for anomalies 
- Maintain proper documentation for data pipelines and analytics configurations 
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields 
- 2–4 years of experience in web analytics, marketing data analysis, or marketing data engineering 
- Experience building or maintaining automated data workflows or ETL pipelines 
- Hands-on experience in digital marketing analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Google Ads, SEO/SEM tools) 
- Data Tools: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau, SQL (required), R or Python and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, BigQuery, Snowflake) 
- Data Modeling: Understanding of data schemas, joins, and normalization concepts 
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset 
- Strong communication and presentation abilities 
- Proactive, collaborative, and curious about data-driven problem-solving
