Our team manages a diverse infrastructure that includes both traditional virtual machines and modern containerized environments using Kubernetes. We pride ourselves on providing a full support cycle, which means you will be involved from the ground up assisting development teams, deploying to lab and staging environments, and ensuring our production services are always available and performant.
This role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full deployment lifecycle: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deploy new releases to production environments.
Maintain and support critical infrastructure: Administer and maintain Linux servers, manage configuration, and ensure our web applications are running in a highly available production environment. This includes managing both VM-based and container-based (Kubernetes) infrastructure.
Enhance automation and efficiency: Actively increase service automation to improve maintainability, scalability, and stability across our platforms.
Monitor and maintain services 24/7: Design monitoring metrics, alerts, and dashboards. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to proactively monitor and maintain services, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams: Actively participate in the project lifecycle from design and development to testing and maintenance.
Required Skills and Experience
Solid knowledge and 2-3 years of strong experience in production support and DevOps/SRE practices.
Proficiency with GNU/Linux-based operating systems (CentOS, Oracle Linux).
Proven experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and other Internet technologies.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, S3, CloudFront).
Expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
Strong understanding of HA (High Availability) and distributed systems design principles, including working with a CDN
Familiarity with web servers (Nginx, Apache) and experience supporting web applications (PHP, Java).
Experience with database administration, particularly PostgreSQL.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
