As a Professional Services Engineer, you will be a core part of delivering Professional Services projects; responsible for the planning, design, and build phases of multiple concurrent projects. You will be responsible for completing these phases within the timelines set by the customer and project manager. This role is part consultant, guiding customers through their transformation to the cloud, and part delivery engineer, building the account based on customer requirements.

The PS Engineer will start with simple builds for customer accounts, learning the system and how to expertly setup an account. This work involves a significant amount of attention to detail and a robust, confident understanding of the core product. Once comfortable with builds and how the product works, the role will expand to include planning and design of a customer’s system, where you will work directly with the customer to design the system for their specific environment. You will be their trusted advisor and consultant, leading them down the best path for their business transformation and giving them a high degree of confidence in the end product.

This role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a detailed understanding of the features and capabilities of the system, as well as be able to articulate these to a customer in a way that makes sense to them.

  • Technical IVR configuration (specific to InContact Studio programming)

  • Consulting, design, and development of IVR integrations

  • Providing process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments.

  • Providing database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing CRM applications.

  • Providing technical architecture leadership, analysis, design, development, and enhancement. Expertise in industry leading contact centre technologies and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BS/BA in technical (e.g., Computer Science/Information Systems) field or equivalent work experience required.

  • 3+ years in post-sales customer focused role. Cloud experience desired but not required.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills internally and client facing.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented, and fast paced environment.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to dive right in, be effective and make a difference.

  • A creative approach to tackling obstacles and problems; thinking outside the box to help customers to meet design requirements.

  • Time management: ensuring you are meeting the timelines set by the customer and project manager for deliverables, while also handling last minute requests and escalations that require immediate attention.

  • Contact centre operational experience desired but not required.
