The Senior Product Manager - Phone position is a high-impact role responsible for delivering an exciting roadmap of RingCentral phone features and services to our customers. The products will focus on the telephony and voice communications of the RingCentral solution stack. As a Senior Product Manager, you are the ultimate owner of the customer experience for your products and services, as well as the person responsible for driving future development and customer adoption. You understand that great products balance simplicity and robust features to solve real world problems. Saying “no” is as important as adding new features.

This role will work across all teams in the company to ensure that we have a competitive product strategy and a plan to deliver the next wave of best-in-class communication experiences. Each day, you will work side-by-side with a dedicated engineering team, designers, user researchers, data scientists, marketers and sales reps to build and deliver products that people and companies not only need, but also love to use.

You love solving customer problems and designing solutions with existing/new technologies. You have a passion to make things happen by working cross functionally. You come across as a trusted and credible partner by following through on your commitments. You also enjoy tapping the left side of the brain and quantifying your decisions by analyzing data and setting up proper measurement and reporting for each feature launched.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and prioritize customer needs based on engagement with customers, internal sales, and support teams

  • Define user-facing features from concept to detailed requirements

  • Communicate both strategic vision and tactical plans to key stakeholders for assigned product areas

  • Collaborate with architects, designers and engineers to build features that delight customers

  • Work with a cross-functional teams on go-to-market approach and communication on new products and/or features

  • Track and measure the success of each product/feature launched

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 + years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or Enterprise software.

  • Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to define, build, and maintain products critical to growth, engagement, and retention

  • User-focused thinker with ability to translate user feedback and usage data into requirements

  • Hands on involvement with launching product releases from ideation, developing user stories, performing user acceptance testing, and measuring in-life product metrics.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills

  • Capable of taking complex issues and making them simple for customers and partners to understand

  • Track record of managing the product life cycle

  • Technical background or relevant experience

  • Ability to thrive in start-up environment

  • Cross-functional leadership

Bonus:
