This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: Responsible for interpreting, analyzing, presenting, and explaining complex ac-counting issues to various Internal business partners and external auditors, and developing and managing compli-ance processes and controls.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Ensuring revenue recognition is in full compliance with RingCentral Policy and with the Revenue Recognition Standard (ASC 606)

  • Implementation of Internal Control Compliance (SOX) through developing and devising internal process improvements to ensure SOX compliance

  • Managing internal financial audits, including communication with auditors, providing reconciliations, and procuring supporting documentation

  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing for system implementations to develop and customize internal systems, including testing for automation processes for internal systems and testing systems for recent company acquisition integration

  • En-suring Accounts Receivable Balance is accurate by performing various analyses and collaborating with cross func-tional teams including the Collections and Billing team

  • Preparing write-off analysis for accounts receivable in accordance with RingCentral policy and processing the accounts to be written-off in NetSuite ERP system

  • Creat-ing, managing, and resolving billing and revenue operation cases

  • Working on itemized refunds, including appease-ments, to determine the appropriate amortization and impact to the profit and loss statement

  • Investigating any discrepancies by working with cross functional teams including sales operations, shipping/supply chain, and sales admin to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts/opportunities

  • Assisting with month-end and quarter-end accounting close activities

  • Preparing various adjustment journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, bad debt, and Inventory COGs

  • Reconciling key balance sheet accounts at month-end to ensure financials are complete & accurate

  • Preparing the days sale outstanding analysis to analyze collection efforts as compared to average invoicing

Desired Qualifications:

  • U.S. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus one (1) year of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required.

  • Experience with User Accepting Testing, NetSuite ERP system, Salesforce, Rev-enue Recognition Standard (ASC 606), Implementation of Internal Control Compliance (SOX), and work with a US publicly traded company is required.
