We’re currently looking for a: Numbers Analyst to join our team, contributing to provide administrative support for RingCentral’s Number management.

The role involves management, audit, and support of telephone number acquisition, allocation, utilization, and forecasting. The analyst will also assist multiple departments on number requests, routing issues or escalations on a day to day basis. The right candidate should be comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks, and must be eager to learn and grow with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. To comply with U.S. federal government requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Job Duties:

  • Support of existing and new phone number, ordered and ported

  • Voice & SMS Provisioning which may require carrier interaction via ticketing or self service portals or using internal tools

  • Emergency calls address services provisioning - may be involved in manual processes like data entry, API process monitoring and output audits/corrective actions

  • Creation, management, and delivery of porting orders (E.g. porting-in, porting-out) for local and Toll-Free number projects.

  • Internal ticket support and management via ticketing systems with on call rotation

  • Can encode data with speed and accuracy

  • Phone number migrations between carriers and porting

  • Phone Number Inventory Management

  • Assist in audit, report generation as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of North American +1 phone numbers and dial plans (rate centers, npa and nxx)

  • Experience in service delivery management related to Telecom or equivalent B2B processes is an advantage

  • Number porting related experience for North America is valued

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to learn various GUI and systems quickly (Tableau, Salesforce, JIRA)

  • Must have excellent email and verbal communications skills

  • Candidates must be a good team player, innovative, creative and can work gracefully under pressure, should also have a strong sense of ownership and ability to manage their own workload

If you are hired in Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Maryland, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $72,800 and $117,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
