This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for:

Responsible for applying engineering leadership and experience in cloud infrastructure and software to manage RingCentral’s global Site Reliability Engineering organization in charge of maintaining public and private cloud software infrastructure across the globe.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Responsible for leading the strategy and efforts to scale, automate, and create efficiencies within the engineering programs

  • Lead a team of program managers who work across different product lines creating scalable methods, best practices, and relevant KPIs to deliver new products and features in line with business goals and need

  • Perform SWOT analysis across organization, create recommendations for efficiency and quality, and set strategy and priorities for program managers

  • Create a scalable dependency management framework across multiple disciplines to better align product and engineering teams

  • Develop reporting mechanisms that are scalable; Exploit multiple tools (and recommend if necessary) for automation

  • Deep dive into areas that need attention and troubleshoot and bring structure to issues or department

  • Foresee dependencies, risks, and issues and build the appropriate program framework for projects and programs to deliver quality

  • Communicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross-functional and global teams

  • Develop and mentor the team in order to build strong leadership skills, and define, drive, and lead weekly operating mechanisms

Desired Qualifications:

  • U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required.

  • Experience with SaaS, Agile, Scrum, JIRA, cloud infrastructure, platform development, product development, release management, risk management, personnel management and establishing/developing KPIs is required.
