New York, NY, USA

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you will help drive high-impact strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives, primarily aligned to Rightway’s Healthcare Navigation business line.

You will play a critical role in maximizing revenue with existing partners - owning the group sales process from opportunity identification through contracting - while coordinating cross-functional initiatives that support growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and leading go-to-market strategies across partnership types (e.g., brokers, TPAs, PEOs, captives).

The ideal candidate will be equal parts commercial and operational—able to own a high-volume pipeline, position a compelling joint value proposition while co-selling with partners, and execute with a high attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a mission-driven health tech company in the midst of a significant scaling period.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead commercial initiatives across current navigation partnerships.
  • Serve as the face of Rightway by owning the full sales cycle with prospects including all activities from capability overviews and product demos through contract execution.
  • Educate and enable partner commercial teams to sell Rightway on their behalf.
  • Partner closely with Implementation, Client Success, Sales Ops, and other internal teams to ensure a scalable sales and operating model.
  • Support the development of presentations, analytics, custom collateral, messaging, and process playbooks to maximize partner engagement and impact (e.g., ROI).
  • Plan and lead partner-facing presentations, including webinars and trainings.
  • Serve as the quarterback for cross-functional projects that advance commercial and strategic priorities (e.g., accelerating growth, enabling new partner types, improving operational efficiencies).
  • Optimize partnership strategy and planning processes, including building a joint pipeline with the partner, assessing new opportunities and managing revenue forecasts in partnership with Finance.
  • Manage pipeline in Salesforce and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Support enterprise sales enablement initiatives and RFP responses requiring custom solution design.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 3-5 years in strategy, management or benefits consulting, business operations, or account management/client success
  • Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Experience with Excel and Powerpoint: you’re able to build presentations and perform data-driven analyses
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an aptitude for developing solutions with a creative approach
  • Ability to be a self-starter, influencing others, taking ownership, and driving activities with limited structure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including confidence in presenting externally
  • Aptitude to engage a variety of internal and external stakeholders and manage competing priorities and timelines
  • Commitment to a growth mindset to see challenges as opportunities and deep interest in learning
  • Highly collaborative working style, with the ability to reach across lines, quickly appreciate alternative perspectives, and prioritize the best solution over winning
  • Experience in healthcare / health tech / employee benefits industry a bonus, not required
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree a bonus

HOW WE LIVE OUR VALUES TO OUR TEAMMATES:

We’re seeking those with passion for healthcare and relentless devotion to our goal. We need team members that embody our following core values:

1) We are human, first
Our humanity binds us together. We bring the same empathetic approach to every individual we engage with, whether it be our members, our clients, or each other. We are all worthy of respect and understanding and we engage in our interactions with care and intention. We honor our stories. We listen to—and hear—each other, we celebrate our differences and similarities, we are present for each other, and we strive for mutual understanding.

2) We redefine what is possible
We always look beyond the obstacles in front of us to imagine new solutions. We approach our work with inspiration from other industries, other leaders, and other challenges. We use ingenuity and resourcefulness when faced with tough problems.

3) We debate then commit
We believe that a spirit of open discourse is part of a healthy culture. We understand and appreciate different perspectives and we challenge our assumptions. When working toward a decision or a new solution, we actively listen to one another, approach it with a “yes, and” mentality, and assume positive intent. Once a decision is made, we align and champion it as one team.

4) We cultivate grit
Changing healthcare doesn’t happen overnight. We reflect and learn from challenges and approach the future with a determination to strive for better. In the face of daunting situations, we value persistence. We embrace failure as a stepping stone to future success. On this journey, we seek to act with guts, resilience, initiative, and tenacity.

5) We seek to delight
Healthcare is complicated and personal. We work tirelessly to meet the goals of our clients while also delivering the best experience to our members. We recognize that no matter the role or team, we each play a crucial part in our members’ care and take that responsibility seriously. When faced with an obstacle, we are kind, respectful, and solution-oriented in our approach. We hold ourselves accountable to our clients and our members’ success.
