Company Overview

Reflex Robotics is building affordable wheeled humanoid robots designed for the reality of industry. Our robots are built to be tough, low-cost, and reliable—engineered for mass production. We envision a future where intelligent robots handle the work humans hate: loading chicken nuggets into boxes at Costco, lifting forty-pound bags of dog food at Petco, and managing the mundane logistics of the modern world. Backed by Khosla Ventures, we are currently running customer pilots with 3PLs and US manufacturing companies in 2025, preparing for scale-up of our fleet and deployments in 2026.

How Does It Work?

  • Industrial Pedigree: Our robots are designed and built entirely in-house by an engineering team that led development of the Stretch robot at Boston Dynamics and key production systems for Tesla’s Model S, X, and Y.

  • The Teleop Edge: We have developed the world’s most advanced real-time teleoperation system. This allows remote operators (3k+ miles away) to control our robots at human-level speeds, enabling us to ship robots with positive unit economics today.

  • Proprietary Data Engine: By deploying early with human-in-the-loop, we collect high-quality demonstrations at scale. This creates the data engine needed to train increasingly capable AI systems and build the largest robotics dataset in the world.

Key Company Beliefs

  • High-quality, proprietary robotics data is the next foundation for generational AI companies (like Tesla FSD and ChatGPT).

  • Being nerd-sniped by maximizing an engineering metric is way less important than solving our customers’ biggest pain points.

  • An insane work ethic is required for outsized success—and you'll be rewarded for it.

What We’re Looking For

We’re still a small team—which means high ownership, high equity, and the chance to shape the product from the ground up.

We are looking for a Killer to own the heartbeat of our field operations. This isn't a "desk job." It is a high-ownership, high-impact role that requires someone who thrives on the chaos of scaling a physical product. You are the bridge between our remote operators and our customer sites. If a robot is down, you are the one responsible for getting it back into the workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1) Robot & Operator Management: You will lead daily workflow planning to ensure every robot in the fleet has a mission. You'll run new operators through our standardized training protocols and track performance metrics to ensure our human-in-the-loop system is operating at peak efficiency.

  • 2) Test Facility Management: Manage the intake of customer equipment and pallets, setting up physical workflows that mirror site environments. You are responsible for testing and measuring robot readiness against actual customer inventory to greenlight deployments.

  • 3) Deployment Operations: You own the logistics and execution of customer onboarding. From detailed planning of robot delivery to site-mapping and final handoff, you ensure that every customer pilot is a flawless success from Day 1.

  • 4) Fleet Tracking & Reliability: You are the source of truth for how our robots are actually performing. You will track and report on fleet health, software reliability, and hardware MTBF.

Who You Are

  • The "Killer" Mentality: You understand the stakes of our 2026 scale-up. You are willing to put in the work, travel to customer sites (~20%), and do whatever it takes to ensure the fleet never stops moving.

  • Hardcore & Infectious Energy: You are a high-intensity individual who wants to raise the bar for everyone around you. You bring an infectious energy to the team that drives a faster "bias for action" and a culture of excellence.

  • Metrics-Obsessed: You are here to level up our operations. You understand that better data and tracking lead to better high-level company decisions. You are obsessed with "Uptime" and believe that if a metric isn't being tracked, it isn't being managed.

  • Low Ego & Hands-On: No job is beneath you. Whether it’s picking up a wrench to fix a joint, unboxing a heavy pallet, or cleaning up a spill caused by a robot, you are ready to get your hands dirty to unblock the mission.

  • Self-Managed & Proactive: You don’t need a task list to be effective. You are someone who sees what needs to happen, develops a plan, and proposes it to the team rather than waiting to be assigned every task. You are a self-motivated operator who takes full responsibility for the state of the fleet.

You’d be joining a company that already has a solid core business—with working hardware, delighted customers, and profitable unit economics. Reflex is de-risked enough to see the hazy outlines of success, but still small enough that there’s enormous upside up for grabs.

Come Join Us

This is a rare opportunity to help build a flagship robotics company from the ground up—and to do work that will truly matter, reshaping what people believe is possible in robotics.
