About Us

Redcar is on a mission to make every professional superhuman. Starting with sales, our AI Sales Rep works tirelessly for busy sellers and founders to help them acquire customers effortlessly. Our approach is twofold:
  1. End-to-End Automation: From sourcing leads to qualifying them, from outreach to deal closure, we are continuously expanding our platform to cover more of the sales function. This allows sellers to focus on selling and closing deals.
  2. Cutting Edge AI Technology: We are not just another ChatGPT wrapper; we develop both the SaaS platform and the AI agent framework in-house, code-named AgentExpress. This vertical integration is crucial for delivering a seamless and effective customer experience.
Redcar just won ProductHunt's Top-3 product and we're scaling aggressively.
Our substantial seed round is not yet public. Redcar is backed by Silicon Valley luminaries and top-tier venture funds. We are rapidly approaching seven-figure revenues and are relentlessly working towards building the next unicorn company in the midst of this AI revolution.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a key part of our design and product team, working closely with our founding members to turn complex problems into elegant design solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product’s user experience and design aesthetic.
This is your chance to be part of a rocketship poised for multi-billion dollar success, working directly with seasoned founders from Google, Microsoft, BCG, Stanford, and Princeton (including Jeff Chen who has successfully exited two startups to Google and Zynga).

You Will

  • Lead and drive product design, creating aesthetically aligned and functional designs that reflect Redcar’s vision and brand.
  • Collaborate closely with the founding team to quickly enact upon the vision and iterate designs efficiently based on feedback.
  • Translate complex workflows into simple, user-friendly experiences.
  • Infuse empathy into your design work, focusing on user pain points and simplifying their journey through thoughtful design.
  • Create beautiful, clean, and effective UX that aligns with the company’s mission of empowering users.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced startup environment, where you can create rapidly and move quickly, while maintaining high-quality outputs.

We're Looking For

Must-Haves:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup (preferably in a team of fewer than 20 people) as your most recent or one of your most recent roles.
  • Documented startup case study in your portfolio, showcasing your ability to navigate design challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong UI/UX portfolio that demonstrates your seniority or advanced design skills.
  • Ownership mentality — you’re proactive, self-motivated, and driven to deliver exceptional results. You love to be one step upfront.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital product design, with strong expertise in UX — able to distill complex user flows into simple, intuitive interfaces.
  • High empathy for users and a focus on designing products that are both powerful and easy to use.
  • Proficiency with Figma.
  • Mission-driven mindset; you’re passionate about a future where every professional is superhuman and excited to work with AI-driven products.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Passionate about AI and automation, with an understanding of how it impacts product design.
  • Know how to motion / interaction design.

Compensation

  • Salary: $110k - $170k
  • Equity: 0.1% - 0.3%
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Perks: 3 weeks PTO, unlimited sick days, and a super collaborative team culture
