About the Role
As Head of Sales at Redcar, you will take ownership of the entire sales organization, building and executing a sales strategy that drives company growth and establishes Redcar as a leader in the AI-powered sales automation space. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to define the sales roadmap, optimize go-to-market strategies, and lead a high-performance sales team.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can see the big picture while still diving into the details of the sales process. You must be a data-driven leader capable of using analytics to optimize performance and guide decision-making. You will also serve as the face of the sales team, fostering relationships with key customers and partners while ensuring your team is motivated, high-performing, and aligned with Redcar’s long-term goals.
You Will Achieve:
• Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team capable of exceeding aggressive revenue targets.
• Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a sales strategy that drives growth, particularly within the SMB market, while also expanding enterprise sales.
• Pipeline & Forecasting: Establish and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and sales reporting.
• Execution of Sales Process: Own the sales process from lead generation through to deal closure. Ensure that your team is following best practices in all aspects of sales, from qualifying leads to negotiating deals.
• SMB Market Expansion: Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy specifically for the SMB sector, tapping into new revenue streams and driving product adoption.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine our product offering based on feedback from the market.
• C-Suite Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key enterprise clients and executives to secure high-value deals.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor your sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
We’re Looking For
Must Have:
• 6+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in building and scaling a sales team to exceed revenue targets.
• Strong expertise in SMB sales, with a track record of penetrating this market.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering accurate revenue forecasts.
• Ability to close mid market or enterprise deals and lead by example.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on collaboration and coaching.
Good to Have:
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Deep understanding of AI/automation products.
