As a Enterprise Renewal Specialist, your primary responsibility is to drive customer retention and revenue growth by managing contract renewals across a portfolio of clients. This role requires a unique blend of customer-centricity, commercial acumen, and operational discipline. This role will be the owner of the renewal process for our largest enterprise accounts. This role must have a strong partnership with their counterpart, the Customer Success Manager, on their jointly assigned book of business.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Engage with our strategic customers to manage renewal conversations, address their specific needs, and provide advanced support during the renewal phase of their journey.
- Leverage extensive product knowledge to highlight value-added solutions that meet customer needs and drive renewal sales.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers through strategic communication and exceptional service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead renewal sales planning and contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies.
- Create, update, and analyze detailed reports on subscription activities, contract status, and renewal performance metrics.
- Continuously enhance knowledge about product offerings and market trends to improve renewal sales effectiveness.
- Drive the achievement of sales and renewal targets and provide strategic insights to leadership.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide regular updates and insights on renewal opportunities and deliver accurate forecasts to leadership.
- Utilize and optimize all sales tools and technologies to enhance sales processes and outcomes.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
We are looking for people who have:
- 5 years+ of account management experience which includes a track record of success in customer retention. Deep expertise in managing enterprise software contract renewals and negotiations.
- Located in Atlanta Metropolitan area or Massachusetts, remote.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust quickly with decision-makers.
- Skilled at engaging stakeholders across various levels (procurement, legal, executive sponsors) where needed.
- Deep commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Confidence in navigating customer concerns and overcoming objections.
- The ability to communicate and simplify complex technical concepts to clients
- Understands the impact of renewal timing, expansion, and contraction on recurring revenue metrics
- Experience with business reporting tools and analytics to showcase product value i.e. Salesforce, Looker, etc.
- Ideally, experience with HRTech and/or Human Resources practices
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrives in fast paced work environments
- Autonomous worker who is a self-starter, has eagerness to learn and incredibly detail oriented.
- Fluency in English; speaking additional languages is a plus but not required
