Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python and a strong background in managing and working with various databases. The role involves implementing and maintaining robust data pipelines and developing codebases for task automation.
In this role you get to:
Automate statistical studies and machine learning processes that will be used to prove value to clients, including ROI and assessment validity.
- Create tooling that will allow the data team to easily access data from multiple complex warehouses.
We’re looking for people who have:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of advanced proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks and automation
5+ years of experience with relational databases, with strong skills in at least one of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MySQL, or SQL Server, and familiarity with the others
2+ years of experience with MongoDB and the ability to articulate its differences and use cases compared to relational databases
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Candidates must be based in the US CT or ET time zone. We are currently able to hire in the following states TX, IL, FL, GA, NY, NJ, NC & MA.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Stitch and Airflow for managing complex data workflows.
Strong understanding of AWS services and experience with boto3 to integrate and automate interactions within the AWS environment.
Background in data analysis or data science to support cross-functional data needs.
Knowledge of best practices in data security and governance.
- Background or interest in IO psychology/Psychometric data
