Job Overview
Reporting to the QA Lead, the QA Technician (Junior) will assist the Quality department in maintaining compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports the execution of quality inspections, documentation management, and basic equipment and supplier quality activities.
Required training:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Science (Engineering,
- Biotechnology, Quality Management, or a related field)
- Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 or quality management systems
Required experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the medical device industry
- Experience with basic quality inspection tools and techniques
- Familiarity with documentation practices and record-keeping
- Experience with or willingness to maintenance procedures
- Understanding of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes
- Experience with calibration and maintenance of equipment and tools
Main Tasks:
- Assist in the preparation and review of Device History Records (DHR) for batch release.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Support the implementation of quality procedures and work instructions as directed
- Support the maintenance and organization of quality documentation, including inspection records, batch release records, and supplier files.
- Participate in CAPA processes by documenting findings and assisting in root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with the QA team to support internal and external audits and inspections by providing required documentation and evidence of compliance.
- Conduct basic supplier assessments and assist in maintaining supplier quality records.
