About the role
As a Senior Director, Marketing, you will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives. The role is responsible for anticipating factors that could influence strategies and may impact company position in the market and leveraging business inputs to create marketing plans across channels (email, sms, paid media, social, direct mail, etc) that will achieve enterprise goals. You will set the strategy for the team, ensure prioritization, manage budgets, and ensure teams are aligned to goals.
You will report to the Vice President, Growth Marketing.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $192,000 - $252,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the strategic direction and execution of marketing efforts to ensure acquisition, retention and engagement goals are met.
- Owns & defines marketing approach across channels to achieve business goals.
- Stays abreast of marketing trends and capabilities ensuring the marketing tools and technology solutions are best in class.
- Forecasts the impact of marketing campaigns not only at a channel level but also as it impacts the overall business.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to drive the business and leads cross functionally to drive incremental growth and revenue.
- Leads a team of marketing subject matter experts, developing future leaders and continually increasing the impact of the team.
- Manage and allocate budgets ensuring efficient spend and maximizing ROI.
- A channel expert with depth in capabilities, application and orchestration of marketing channels - paid, owned and earned.
- A leader who influences others, organizes complex workstreams and expertly communicates marketing strategies and results.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or 4+ years commensurate work experience.
- 12+ Years of professional experience in marketing, finance, data or discipline where the role is setting the strategy for a team and delivering results.
- 8+ years of Experience leading and developing a team of marketing professionals building a collaborative, high performing environment.
- 8+ years experience developing and measuring marketing campaigns that achieve quantifiable business goals including acquisition, retention, CAC, and ROI.
- 5+ years experience designing and measuring tests, developing marking KPI’s, and delivering executive level results presentations.
- 5+ years experience designing complex campaigns across audiences and channels inclusive of targeting, testing and segmentation to design resulting in measurable results tied to business goals.
- 5+ years experience leading multiple (5+ simultaneously) complex projects across a variety of cross functional teams delivered on time and on budget.
- 3+ years of experience effectively managed budgets within forecast and managed at least 5 vendor negotiations resulting in long term partnerships.
Bonus Points
- Healthcare experience in a leadership role.
- Hands on experience in marketing channels - email, sms, social media, search, paid digital, etc.
- Experience designing and implementing attribution models.
- Managing budgets of over $5M.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
