ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for a high-impact Director of Wholesale to build and lead Jack Archer’s wholesale channel. This role will be responsible for creating and executing the go-to-market strategy, establishing strong retail partnerships, and driving revenue growth through wholesale distribution while ensuring brand integrity.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and scrappy - excited to lay the foundation of wholesale while leveraging their deep industry connections and operational know-how.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Wholesale Strategy & Execution: Define and lead Jack Archer’s wholesale growth strategy across department stores, specialty retailers, and international partners.
Retail Partnerships: Identify, pitch, and secure wholesale accounts that align with the brand’s positioning. Cultivate long-term, high-value relationships.
Seasonal Line Planning: Partner with merchandising and product teams to develop seasonal assortments tailored to wholesale partners while protecting DTC priorities.
Sales & Revenue Management: Own and exceed wholesale revenue targets. Manage forecasting, order flow, margin optimization, and profitability.
Go-to-Market Leadership: Oversee the wholesale calendar including market appointments, tradeshows, showrooms, and sell-in tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with planning, operations, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless execution and inventory alignment.
Brand Stewardship: Uphold brand equity and consistency across all third-party retail environments.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
7–10+ years of wholesale or B2B sales experience in fashion/apparel, with a track record of launching or scaling wholesale programs.
Strong relationships across relevant department stores, boutiques, and specialty retailers.
Proven success managing revenue goals, retail planning, and account growth.
Deep understanding of merchandising, line planning, and sell-through optimization.
Highly entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Passion for product, brand, and delivering exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
