ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Operating effectively within the supply chain function of OpenStore is crucial to successfully managing and growing a portfolio of direct to consumer businesses. This person will be exposed to our brands from the moment OpenStore initiates acquisition or operation of a business and will have the opportunity to optimize the brand’s supply chain functions. This person will heavily rely on data to create reporting tools, run analyses and establish standard processes. They will provide important key performance indicators, metrics and information to the broader supply chain team in order to drive informed decisions and identify areas of opportunity. This person will be responsible for maintaining clean and accurate data inputs across the portfolio of brands and serve as the point person for ensuring supply chain data integrity is upheld by collaborating with the broader supply chain team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Audit various metrics and data points and troubleshoot any data quality issues across our portfolio of brands to ensure clean and accurate information is provided to the broader company

  • Develop expertise on the brands in the portfolio by learning about each brand, the data we collect, the products they sell, the suppliers they work with and specific nuances associated with each brand.

  • Build reporting tools to present important supply chain KPIs and metrics in order to provide supply chain team visibility to make informed decisions and identify areas of opportunity

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with peers to push forward projects and tasks that require multi-function input

  • Lead training and execution oversight on various supply chain related tasks and projects to ensure the broader team is properly informed on SOPs and is then able to execute assignments properly and within the expected timelines.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments. At this stage we’re still learning. You will iterate with engineers, analysts and product managers to focus on high impact work.

  • You like to build and ship. You have opinions and can drive forward to delivery. You think strategically about prioritization.

  • You are analytically rigorous. You have a deep bias towards using data and analyses to drive decisions. Your second language is performance KPIs and you know your numbers and the inputs needed to continue improving those KPI metrics.

  • You are collaborative, organized, and thoughtful. You actively solicit teammate’s feedback and can get things done through informal influence. You demonstrate judicious decision-making and embrace intellectual friction as a feature of improvement, not a relationship bug.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • 2+ years e-commerce experience, Shopify preferred

  • Strong Excel expertise including using shortcuts and formula functions, building charts and graphs, sorting and filtering large unclear data sets, utilizing pivot tables, etc.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and Mode
