This position is based in Hyderabad.

About the Team

Opendoor Marketing Science improves marketing effectiveness of multi-million dollar spend through analytics, experimentation and ML modeling.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own maintenance and performance management of Marketing Science ML models that is used to optimize a nine figure marketing budget
  • Drive direct business impact with executive visibility
  • Design, test, implement and democratize Marketing Science models (eg MMM, uplift, CLTV)
  • Partner with Marketing and Analytics Engineering to use ML models for ad delivery optimization
  • Partner with Marketing and Analytics Engineering to share predictions with publishers (eg Google) for ad delivery optimization
  • Partner with stakeholder teams to determine business needs

Skills Needed:

  • BS or MS degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years working in Data Science
  • Proven experience using Python to deploy and manage Machine Learning models
  • Establish and maintain best practices for ML operations
  • Solid understanding of statistics and applying statistical methods to business problems
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Ability to distill complex information into actionable insights / “story telling” ability
  • Familiarity with software design principles, including test-driven development
  • Bonus points for being able to drive models into marketing actions and results
