Founded by Colin Carrier, CEO (formerly CSO of Twitch) and Paco Viciana (formerly CTO of Disney's Club Penguin), we are a seasoned team of 16.

We are growing and need your help! We are looking for a QA Lead,, to work with our producers, developers, designers and everyone in between to ensure the best version of Oooh reaches our users. A good candidate will be a self-starter, organized and flexible, able to work fluidly in a small team as fixes and new features arrive daily.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of testers, internal and external, will be a great communicator, both written and verbal, and will be able to discuss issues and their priorities for the daily user to leadership for prioritization. They will imagine and enjoy suggesting additional quality-of-life improvements to the product beyond the design so the user experience can always be its best.

Responsibilities:

Leading a team of internal and external testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
Creating test plans and strategies for mobile app and website testing
Identifying, documenting, and regression testing of defects
Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
Coordinating with internal and external development teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products

Qualifications and recommended qualities:

Strong understanding of mobile social networking apps such as Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp and more
Great understanding of online content creation with apps such as Tiktok, and familiarity with Twitch and Youtube
General understanding of mobile gaming and game development with the Unity game engine
Strong understanding of mobile devices Android/iOS, their hardware and software and release processes

Bonus points:

Understanding of app release in App Store and Google Play
Team and development-oriented leader who inspires others they work with
