We are seeking a driven, visionary leader to guide business strategy development for Okta’s workforce product portfolio. This high-impact role demands exceptional depth in strategic thinking, advanced analytical rigor, and the ability to build and sustain trusted advisory relationships across the executive team. This role sits within Okta’s Product and Engineering organization (Okta R&D) reporting to the Head of Strategy & Analytics for Okta R&D, rolling up to the President of Products & Technology, the overall leader of the organization.

Critically, you will assess the disruptive potential and strategic implications of emerging AI technologies on the Identity Security market and Okta’s competitive positioning.
- End-to-End Strategy Ownership: Own the entire strategic lifecycle: from hypothesis development, rigorous market research and competitive intelligence, opportunity sizing, financial impact modeling, and formulation of high-impact, actionable recommendations, through to X-functional alignment at the executive level.
- Accelerate New Product Innovation: Jointly develop and execute granular, driver-based growth plans for new product innovation in partnership with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership.
- Advanced Analytics and Insight Generation: Drive sophisticated, driver-based analysis, leveraging advanced quantitative methods to diagnose root causes of product performance variance and translate those findings into concrete, high-leverage strategic actions.
- Executive Influence: Deliver compelling, executive-ready presentations and expertly facilitate high-stakes discussions to secure alignment and drive critical strategic decisions with VP/SVP level functional leaders, leveraging data and strategic storytelling.
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Rapidly develop deep product-level and market-level subject matter expertise, becoming the go-to resource on the Identity Security landscape, the strategic shifts driven by AI, and the competitive threat vector.
- Advisory and Impact: Build and sustain deep, trusted advisory relationships with Okta’s product leadership to shape the long-term product roadmap.
- Scope and Growth: This is an individual contributor role to start but is extensively supported by the Strategy & Operations team and offers immediate opportunity to lead high-visibility operational initiatives across portfolio-wide planning and new product introductions.
