The Global Enablement (GET) team
The Global Enablement Team (GET) focuses on aligning people, processes, and priorities with relevant learning, coaching, and communication delivered at the right time. This role is instrumental in equipping our Okta sales, presales and channel partners with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to promote and implement Okta’s solutions successfully.
The Partner Enablement Manager for Partner Led Countries Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Enablement, this role will join our growing Global Partner Enablement team to enable select partners to self-sufficiently drive Okta business in emerging markets. Working with cross-functional teams aligned to the partner-led objectives, this role will be responsible for designing the enablement strategy and execution that meets partner needs to excel in a partner-driven approach. This role requires both virtual and in-person enablement with the potential for international travel as the needs grow to other markets.
*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute on an enablement strategy that takes partners from initial recruitment through "Tech Champion" status.
- Adapt internal trainings, enablement resources, sales plays, and technical enablement into bespoke partner content through a train-the trainer model in which the partner cascades content to other partners within their ecosystem.
- Ensure partners are experts in Okta onboarding, product sales and presales, service delivery and customer success training.
- Train partner to excel at self-service tools, including self-quoting (New, Upsell, and Renewals), lead management, and deal registration.
- Educate partners on partner program elements including licensing models, pricing strategies and incentives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to expedite content creation and partner availability.
What you’ll bring to the role & what we’re looking for
- 5-10 years in Channel Enablement or Sales/ Presales Training
- Familiarity and proven understanding of Identity Security and Access Management (IAM)
- Understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes and CRM/Partner Portal workflows.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to move a territory from a direct-sales motion to an independent, partner-led model.
- Fluent English communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Experience in adult learning principles or certifications
- Local languages
