About our team

The EMEA Field Marketing team is a critical component of Okta’s ambitious growth strategy in the region. We are a passionate, high-impact group that works in close partnership with Sales and other cross-functional teams to drive pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and build brand presence.

About this role

This is a pivotal, brand-new leadership opportunity within Okta's EMEA Field Marketing function, reporting directly to the Head of EMEA Marketing. This role is a key driver for our ambitious regional growth strategy. You will operate as a strategic player-coach, setting the vision for and executing a modern Account-Based Experience (ABX) strategy across EMEA in partnership with Field Marketing and Global ABX functions. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of two specialists focusing on Customer Growth Marketing (references/communities) and EMEA Marketing Programs (local campaigns). Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Sales, Global Marketing, and other functions to align strategies and accelerate pipeline. Integrating AI tooling to deliver seamless, personalized customer experiences across the lifecycle will be central to this role's success.

What you will do

  • Lead and set the vision for modern Account-Based Experience (ABX) across the EMEA region, in close partnership with Field Marketing and Global ABX functions.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of two direct reports: a Senior EMEA Marketing Programs Specialist and a Senior Customer Growth Marketing Specialist.
  • Drive strategy and execution of marketing programs, encompassing local marketing campaigns (1:few and 1:many motions), customer reference programs, and community initiatives.
  • Act as a player-coach, personally owning key strategic ABX accounts while guiding the team's overall direction and execution excellence.
  • Ensure seamless, personalized customer experiences across the lifecycle by strategically integrating and leveraging AI tooling and other marketing technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Sales, Global Marketing, Field Marketing, and other teams to align strategies, drive pipeline, and accelerate opportunities.
  • Measure and report on the impact of ABX and programs, using data to inform continuous optimization and investment decisions.

What experience you have

  • Demonstrated experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or Account-Based Experience (ABX) strategy and execution, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Proven success in a leadership or player-coach role, including direct experience managing, developing, and inspiring a team of marketing professionals.
  • A strong understanding of the EMEA market and experience tailoring global strategies for regional relevance.
  • Deep expertise in marketing technology is highly beneficial, with hands-on experience in platforms such as 6Sense and Marketo being a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with Sales and diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in both demand generation programs and customer marketing initiatives, including references and communities.
  • A track record of using data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions and a passion for leveraging AI and new technologies to enhance customer engagement.
