The Global Enablement (GET) team

The Global Enablement Team (GET) focuses on aligning people, processes, and priorities with relevant learning, coaching, and communication delivered at the right time. This role is instrumental in equipping our channel partners with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to promote and implement Okta’s solutions successfully. The Learning Experience Design team is an integral part of GET, responsible for designing and developing learning curriculum content for the Okta sales and presales organization. This team collaborates closely with other GET teams to deliver training programs and resources that empower Okta employees and Partners to succeed. The Asia Pac Partner Enablement Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Enablement, this role will join our growing Global Partner Enablement team, with a dedicated focus on providing technical enablement that serves both presales and sales Okta’s Partner Alliance team and their Focus Partner accounts. This role is essential in growing Okta’s business with the partner ecosystem in ANZ, ASEAN, India and Korea regions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including alliances, sales, presales, Office of the Field CTO, product marketing, customer success and training, to design and deliver enablement programs tailored to the unique needs of regional focus partners.

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate Partner-facing technical enablement: Working with the Global Enablement Team’s technical enablement department, develop partner technical training that matches partners’ value propositions, as well as up-level content for Partner sales audiences.
  • Lead Regional Partner Enablement Strategy and Execution: Own the enablement program development and execution for the ANZ, ASEAN, India and Korea regions, aligning to the Regional Alliance and Presales strategy.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders in the Office of the CTO, Field Presales , Product Marketing (PMM), Product, Global Enablement Team (GET), and Sales. Align needs and priorities from cross-functional teams into the enablement strategy and plans designed to build scale on high-impact initiatives.
  • Measure Impact and Effectiveness: In collaboration with the Enablement Operations team, establish clear metrics for measuring the success of enablement programs. Analyze learner engagement, retention, and performance to continuously improve and iterate on enablement activities..
  • Accommodate Diverse Enablement Needs: Ability to build once and scale enablement programs with slight variations to accommodate regional differences and needs.
  • Independently Drive Progress: Navigate ambiguity across the enablement process - from strategy to actions- with little supervision.

What you’ll bring to the role & what we’re looking for

  • Extensive years of experience in presales training and enablement, preferably for identity or cyber security.
  • Proven experience with demos, workshops, and translating technical content into sales plays for Partner AEs and SEs..
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including APJ sales and presales,, product, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment between training initiatives and business priorities
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage training libraries and ensure content accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset to assess learning gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in modern eLearning tools, LMS platforms, and instructional design software.Knowledge of SaaS platforms or Identity Security.
  • Experience in adult learning principles or certifications in instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPLP, or similar).
