The Marketing Operations Team
The Marketing Operations team sits at the core of Okta’s go-to-market strategy, enabling marketing performance through thoughtful systems, streamlined processes, and trusted data. As part of the broader Marketing Data Operations and Technology group, the team drives operational excellence and optimizes the technologies and data flows that power our demand engine and marketing insights.
The Marketing Operations Manager Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this role will serve as the primary Salesforce product owner for the Marketing organization. You’ll help maintain and optimize our Salesforce instance while partnering with teams across Marketing, Business Technology, and xDR Operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, brings a critical eye to system design, and is passionate about making technology work smarter for the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Serve as the Salesforce product owner for Marketing, overseeing the platform’s structure, permissions, and key objects
- Manage project work, enhancements, and documentation across areas like Lead, Contact, Campaign, and Custom Marketing Objects
- Partner with Business Technology to scope and prioritize Salesforce tickets and enhancement requests
- Own and manage SFDC MarTech packages, including version control and vendor coordination
- Collaborate with the Marketing Data team to ensure Salesforce supports marketing data collection and transfer
- Monitor integrations between Salesforce and key platforms like Marketo, Outreach, and 6sense
- Identify and address issues with data flows or system performance
- Create and maintain processes to reduce tech debt, improve security, and support audit compliance
What you’ll bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Sales Technology/Operations
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce admin experience
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Experience with Marketo and other MarTech platforms
- Familiarity with integrating SFDC packages and understanding package versioning
- Exposure to security, audit, or SOX compliance in a marketing systems context

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience.
