Technology experience is the guiding force of our work and our Business Analyst helps ensure we are providing world class technology experiences for our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data, creating documentation, and building reports. You have a passion for data and will help drive opportunities and actions that will improve our technology experience. You will collaborate with key team members to drive quick and scalable solutions. You will be part of a support and engineering services organization that provides high quality service. In this role, you will be a strong advocate for our employees, learning and understanding their technology challenges and championing change through data and analytics. A successful Business Analyst must have a strong understanding of common internet and SaaS applications (browsers, Slack, Google Workspace, Office, Okta), hardware (Apple/Windows), mobile phones and devices, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great attention to detail and will be comfortable working in high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide insight into metrics and performance measurements demonstrating value.
- Drive improvements and enhancements based on metrics and analysis
- Collect and analyze complex data for reporting performance trend, cost benefit, and other types of analyses.
- Provide and drive actionable analysis to leadership teams and stakeholders
- Work with leadership and key stakeholders to identify potential areas for improvement in productivity and spend.
- Create reporting and dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews. Experience with ServiceNow and Tableau is a plus.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.
- Effectively communicate with leadership and stakeholders with empathy and a customer first mindset
- Identify and document the root cause of issues in RCA documents and lead improvements.
- Work cross functionally with the business and engineering teams to drive improvements.
- Create knowledge articles and videos to enable our team and executive customers with technology best practices
- Develop and present business insights to operations and management
- Assist with projects as assigned
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of time to other Okta offices or for offsite events

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3+ years as a business analyst with at least a two years experience building reports/dashboard within ServiceNow
- 3+ years experience in analyzing, leading, and executing optimization initiatives
- 3+ years experience in technical writing
- Great organization skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong competency in ServiceNow, Google Suite, and other business analysis specific tools.
- Strong ability to multi-task and successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; ability to prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of quality
- Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude
- Superior analytical skills & problem solving skills
- Self-starter with initiative and a high 'figure it out' factor
- Work Pacific Standard time hours
- Proven desire to take ownership of tasks and projects and follow through to completion
