The Okta Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a-Service solution by identifying and resolving risks to the employees, product, and most importantly, our customers.

The Customer Trust team works to enhance customer trust in the identity products our teams build. We serve as a strategic resource working closely with Okta’s GTM teams. The Customer Assurance team is the central hub of Customer Trust, providing comprehensive security information to our customers so they can effectively manage their risk. With the ever-increasing pace of cloud application adoption, companies are struggling to find ways to accurately assess risk and act at the speed of their business. As our Security Assurance Operations Analyst, you will create processes and tools that enable Okta to efficiently respond to customer security questions and maintain questionnaires in Third-Party portals. As you grow into the role, you will be encouraged and have the opportunity to drive changes and help the team scale their support efforts globally.

This position requires a unique set of skills including project management, the ability to communicate with internal customers, and ensure business needs are prioritized appropriately. If you’re a self-starter who wants to make a difference in global cloud security, we want you on board.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Customer Assurance to triage requests for:
    • Completing customer security questionnaires
    • Find appropriate responses to customer questions
    • Maintain Okta’s RFP response database
  • Maintain and improve backend systems that facilitate day-to-day workload and self-service distribution of security resources
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standardized security documentation
  • Assist in maintaining and completion of third party industry standard questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ, VSA, CyberGRX)
  • Assist in assessing security impact on changes to the systems and applications
  • Perform other IT security and compliance related tasks as assigned

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Business or technical degree (BS), or equivalent experience
  • 2 years project management or equivalent experience in technology or information security fields
  • Passionate about process improvement
  • Experience with no-code automation systems
  • Self-starter

Helpful Certifications / Skills:

  • Working towards or holding CCSK, ISC2 associate or other Information Security related certification
  • Technical knowledge a plus
