Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

The Okta Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a-Service solution through identifying and resolving risks to the employees, product, and most importantly, our customers.

The Customer Trust team works to ensure the public perception of Okta’s trustworthy customer experience mirrors the reality of the identity products our teams build. We serve as a strategic resource working closely with Okta’s GTM teams as the external voice for Okta’s security and compliance. It's our role to manage the Okta security brand and shape the security culture of the company.

Through our continued focus and innovative methods, we aim to ensure that:

  1. When people think of Okta, they think of a leading zero trust cybersecurity company
  2. When people work at Okta, they think of role modeling security behaviors to meet the high standard we set for security internally

    • Communicate externally with knowledge and authority and drive the public conversation around security
    • Leverage external networks and resources to ensure that Okta is always seen to be at the cutting edge of security
    • Build our external security brand. Work with product marketing, communications and security teams to develop security-relevant outreach strategies, directly engaging customers around Okta's security product capabilities and amplifying Okta's relevance within the cybersecurity market
