The CIC Technical Program Management Team
The Technical Program Management team at Okta focuses on driving critical, cross-functional programs for our Customer Identity Cloud Product Unit. The Technical Program Management team partners with Product and Engineering teams to implement, maintain, and optimize complex operational processes, inclusive of clarifying needs and value, securing commitment from teams across the organization, setting timelines, and facilitating ongoing delivery and execution.
The Product Manager Internship Opportunity
During this internship you will have an opportunity to partner with one of our Senior Technical Program Managers to help drive successful outcomes of program objectives. You are a problem solver who cares about making a meaningful impact and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, high growth, distributed team. The ideal candidate will share our passion and pride in the simple elegance and usability of our solution.

What you’ll be doing
- Manage and effectively communicate the applicable Project or Program Plan
- Publish regular status and health updates to stakeholders
- Support lead Technical Program Managers in the effective management of project risks, deliverables, and action items
- Gain domain and technical knowledge
Qualifications
- Interest in Technical Program/Project Management managing consumer-facing software programs and/or embedded systems.
- A passion for enabling teams to adopt, manage, and optimize processes and tooling
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, especially remote.
- Experience using Program/Project Management systems
And extra credit if you have experience with any of the following:
- Experience managing software related projects
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
Education and Training:
- BA, MA, or PhD in Computer Science, Product Management or related field
- Graduation date between December 2024-June 2025
