The Opportunity:

Our Demand Generation team is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager for a 12-month contract (You will be hired through our staffing partner CXC). This role will develop integrated marketing programs in collaboration with business development and alliances teams and other marketing teams.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner Marketing Programs localisation for Asia – Develop end-to-end integrated marketing programs and ‘programs-in-a-box” in collaboration with business development, ISV and Channel teams and other Marketing teams (Field Marketing, Product Marketing, etc.), including 3rd party events and conferences, Okta+partner-hosted on and offline events, email, direct marketing and other activities.
  • Execution of Strategic Partner Initiatives – Collaborate with strategic partners on the creation of joint offers and drive the internal and external go-to-market strategy with the use of joint marketing funds.
  • Partner Relations – Work with the Partner & Alliances and sales teams to build/grow relationships with strategic partner marketing teams to ensure they see a successful business opportunity with Okta
  • Content Marketing – Project Manage joint messaging to be included in solution briefs, sales slide presentations, business and technical white papers, web and social content, and enablement (for both internal and channel use)
  • Strategy and Insights – Review market, company data, and partner strategies to define program opportunities, audiences, and priorities. Work with marketing operations to analyse and report on program performance.
  • Own MDF program creation & management and execution
  • Serve as the Partner team’s main point of contact within marketing. Send weekly marketing updates to Business Development organization.


About You:
You have a strong mix of core marketing experience, are outcomes orientated, and excellent problem-solving skills. You work well with all different types of people; brainstorming, debating, mentoring - and learning. You are able to enable and motivate a team, have a good sense of humor, and have a balance of player and coaching skills.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with B2B software partner marketing execution
  • Deep understanding of demand, inbound and database marketing standard methodologies
  • Strong written and communications skills. Must be able to communicate the value proposition of the company, able to create original content and edit existing content
  • Track record of campaign ownership and consistent success
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Deep understanding of the partner ecosystem
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • A strong ability to write and present effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Data-driven decision-making and reporting skills
  • Salesforce, Marketo, and demand gen technology experience
