The Opportunity
Nutanix is continuing to invest in the next generation of talent, and the Talent Outreach Program Manager, Emerging Talent will play a critical role in building and sustaining a high-quality future talent pipeline. In this role, you will design and execute a data‑driven outreach and partnership strategy that strengthens Nutanix’s presence across universities, student organizations, external professional organizations, and skill-building programs.
You will serve as a connector between external partners and internal stakeholders and an organizer of events and activities, ensuring that our outreach efforts are aligned with hiring goals and long‑term talent objectives. About the Team
Nutanix’s Emerging Talent team is a tight-knit, passionate team focused on attracting, engaging, and developing intern, early‑career, and career changing professionals across multiple disciplines. We operate as one team and provide an environment that encourages collaboration and growth. The team partners closely with Talent Acquisition, People Brand, Culture & Community, and leaders across the business to deliver creative, business-aligned, and scalable emerging talent attraction, recruitment and program experiences.
Your Role
- Own the data‑driven strategy for determining which university, professional affinity, and skill-building recruitment partnerships Nutanix pursues, using insights to prioritize impact and align with hiring needs
- Build and maintain strategic external recruitment partnerships with universities, student organizations, external professional organizations, and skill-building programs to attract a high-quality future talent pipeline
- Develop and execute outreach and event strategies that strengthen Nutanix’s brand presence on campus and within key professional organizations
- Plan, organize, and host recruitment and engagement events, including career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and conference attendance
- Identify, enable, and support Nutanix ambassadors to represent the company at events, ensuring they are well‑trained and aligned with our brand and values
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, People Brand, Culture & Community, and Emerging Talent peers) to ensure outreach efforts align with hiring goals and People Brand
- Track, analyze, and report on outreach effectiveness, using data to continuously improve engagement strategies and partnership outcomes
- Identify new opportunities to expand Nutanix’s visibility and credibility within emerging talent communities, including the assessment of university recruitment technologies
- Collaborate across the Emerging Talent team to support key functional initiatives including Intern Program execution, recruitment process development, keep warm campaigns, and other projects as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business, communications, or a related field
- 8+ years’ experience building or managing university relations, early‑career programs, or talent outreach initiatives
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform strategy and measure program impact
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Clear, compelling written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for working with students and early‑career talent and building creative and business-aligned talent outreach strategies
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $104,800 – 157,200. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
