The Opportunity
The Workday QA Analyst will be a key member of the Global People Technology team, ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our Workday ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep Workday functional knowledge with strong analytical, testing, and automation skills. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate system behavior, and ensure that new features, enhancements, and integrations meet the highest standards of quality.
Your primary focus will be on validating functionality across Core HCM, Time Off & Absence, Compensation, Talent and Time Tracking. You will play a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, optimizing user experience, and driving continuous improvement across Global People Services. Your Role
As a Workday QA Analyst, you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts for Workday enhancements, releases, integrations, and new functionality.
- Validate end‑to‑end HR processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business requirements.
- Leverage automation tools such as Leapwork and/or UiPath to streamline regression testing and improve testing efficiency.
- Partner with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Conduct system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with a focus on data integrity and user experience.
- Identify defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with teams to drive timely resolution.
- Monitor Workday’s bi‑annual releases, assess impact, and validate new features prior to deployment.
- Recommend process improvements and testing best practices to enhance quality and reduce risk.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with audit and compliance standards.
What You Will Bring
Core Workday Expertise
- 5–8+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Time Off & Absence, Talent, Compensation and Time Tracking.
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, reporting, and integrations.
Quality Assurance & Testing Skills
- Proven experience developing test plans, test scripts, and test cases for complex HR systems.
- Expertise in executing system, regression, integration, and UAT cycles.
- Ability to stage and manipulate test data to support various testing scenarios.
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, assess impacts, and validate end‑to‑end workflows.
Automation & Tools
- Hands‑on experience with Leapwork and/or UiPath for automated Workday testing.
- Experience using Leapwork and/or UiPath for process automation and test optimization.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting tools (Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, EIBs) to support validation and data analysis.
Collaboration & Communication
- Ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios and clear documentation.
- Strong communication skills to partner with cross‑functional teams, lead UAT sessions, and guide stakeholders through testing outcomes.
- Experience evaluating new Workday features and recommending rollout strategies while mitigating risk.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
