The Opportunity
If you are a software engineer interested in building full-stack services for a Cloud platform, then we are interested in talking to you. The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in building high-performing systems that are scalable and extensible.
About Team
Nutanix’s Developer Productivity team is responsible for enabling all of our developers to do their best work at Nutanix. We manage and maintain build systems in Nutanix’s data center and AWS, which provide our entire build and test environments and related services.
Your Role
  • Build applications, tools, and cloud-based services for highly efficient engineering operations
  • Design and develop high-quality UI, REST APIs for highly scalable, available, and robust services
  • Be a service owner. The team follows DevOps principles - we own how, where, when our services get deployed. Participate in on-call rotations for our services
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to transfer requirements into high-quality and timely deliverables.
What You Will Bring
  • 7+ years of strong programming skills (such as Python, Go, Java and JavaScript)
  • Experience with building and running full stack, large scale, distributed, highly-available and fault-tolerant applications
  • Good understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Detailed oriented with a strong focus on code simplicity and performance
  • Enjoy collaborating with other engineers and solving difficult problems
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field required
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
